Fuel scarcity Still Continue



The ongoing scarcity of Fuel, has continued to generate reactions from angry Nigerians.

The situation has further compounded the chaotic traffic movement in and around Lagos metropolis, leading to long queues of vehicles in search of petrol.


Lasu-Iba road witnessed long queues of vehicles waiting to get the commodity. Similarly, on the Agege-Iyana Ipaja road, long queues of motorists dotted the over five fuel sta­ tions on the road, thus leading to heavy traffic jam.

Also in Ikotun, most of the filling station were under lock and keys as drivers were seen moving around with cans.

Also Drivers lamented that they had not worked much since last Tuesday due to the ugly development.

One Driver spoke;*,Name withheld * “As we speak, I’ve not worked since Tuesday.

Some passengers, also spoke on the situation, complained of sudden hike in transport fare.
