Lionel Messi wins Ballon d'Or - fifth time

The Barcelona superstar enjoyed an incredible year
and has now scooped the prestigious prize for a
fifth time.
Messi has been beaten by Cristiano Ronaldo in the
last two years but has edged out the Real Madridsuperstar and team-mate Neymar this time around.

His previous wins came between 2009 and 2012
with the latest triumph indicating his return to the
